according to the boffins the coldest place on earth is in Antarctica. It is Dome Argos situated in the East Antarctic Plateau, in a high ridge and in the hollows the temperature can dip into below minus 133.6 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 92 degrees Celsius) on a clear winter night.Information collected from an article in the NASA website
