1846 Chief Justice Cloete and Sir Theophilus Shepstone set up the Locations Commission to investigate the feasibility of segregating black and white in Natal. Seven locations are initially established, financed in the main by a hut tax imposed on Africans. Shepstone introduces the system whereby the hereditary chiefs are responsible for the immediate running of the locations. The system comes under attack from white settlers who fear that self-sufficient locations would rob them of cheap black labour

1848 Cape Governor Sir Harry Smith instructs the British Resident of the newly constituted Orange River Sovereignty, Major Henry Warden, to set up boundaries between the black and white communities in the land north of the Caledon River based on their occupation of that region. He is further instructed not to cede land to the black communities where there may be overlapping of occupation between Black and White. The boundaries come to be known as the “Warden Line” and is promulgated in 1849. Moshoeshoe, the King of the Basotho loses large areas of his territory

1833 The British Parliament passes an emancipation decree, the Abolition Act, which abolishes the system of slavery, but which writes a kind of indentured labour system, called “apprenticeship”, into the legislation. This is to ensure that the slave-based economies of the British Empire do not collapse as a result of the end of slavery

The Governor, Sir George Napier, supports Moshoeshoe's claim to his territory, by concluding a treaty with the Basotho king in which the Basotho territory is determined as all the land between the Orange and Caledon Rivers. Moshoeshoe is granted a salary of £75 to maintain order in his newly defined territory

I have been reading a lot about press freedom in various countries and various theaters of war. Now is this the first time in history where press freedom was taken out by the government any where in the world?

1800 Cape Colony: An official newspaper press is established. A Government Gazette is issued. The establishment of an official press forbids freedom of the press, with a heavy fine threatening anyone who attempts to publish. In July 1800 the Cape government orders the publication of a weekly newspaper called the Cape Town Gazette and African Advertiser.

I was reading this article about Israel and the Zionists, my favourite subject. The authour keeps on comparing Zionismin Israel to Aprtheid in South africa. So I wanted to have a refresher course in the History of SA. Found this:

1615 Sir Thomas Roe attempts to land some deported British criminals at the Cape, but those who are not drowned or killed by Khoi-Khoi are soon removed from the Cape and the scheme is abandoned. (SESA, v. 2, p. 507)

Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild

The statement echoed one made in the eighteenth century by the patriarch of what would become the most powerful banking dynasty in the world. Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild famously said in 1791:



“Allow me to issue and control a nation’s currency, and I care not who makes its laws.”



Mayer’s five sons were sent to the major capitals of Europe – London, Paris, Vienna, Berlin and Naples – with the mission of establishing a banking system that would be outside government control. The economic and political systems of nations would be controlled not by citizens but by bankers, for the benefit of bankers. Eventually, a privately-owned “central bank” was established in nearly every country; and this central banking system has now gained control over the economies of the world. Central banks have the authority to print money in their respective countries, and it is from these banks that governments must borrow money to pay their debts and fund their operations. The result is a global economy in which not only industry but government itself runs on “credit” (or debt) created by a banking monopoly headed by a network of private central banks; and at the top of this network is the BIS, the “central bank of central banks” in Basel.

And in the same article it is noted that:

In a 2003 article titled “The Bank for International Settlements Calls for Global Currency,” Joan Veon wrote:

“The BIS is where all of the world’s central banks meet to analyze the global economy and determine what course of action they will take next to put more money in their pockets, since they control the amount of money in circulation and how much interest they are going to charge governments and banks for borrowing from them. . . .

“When you understand that the BIS pulls the strings of the world’s monetary system, you then understand that they have the ability to create a financial boom or bust in a country. If that country is not doing what the money lenders want, then all they have to do is sell its currency.”

The question is, was this which kappened to Japan, Iceland? Do we have a say in our own Gov? Scary is it?

For example, Disney's recent attempts to "figure out the boys' entertainment market," includes the services of Kelly Pena, described as "the kid whisperer," who in an attempt to understand what makes young boys tick, uses her anthropological skills to convince young boys and their parents to allow her to look into the kids' closets, go shopping with young boys and pay them $75 to be interviewed. Ms. Pena, with no irony intended, prides herself on the fact that "Children ... open up to her."

How many of us know about the DA Notice (formerly D Notice)?

DA-Notices (for "Defence Advisory" Notices) are issued by the Defence, Press and Broadcasting Advisory Committee as a means of providing official guidance on those areas of national security which the UK Government considers it has a duty to protect. The Notices are widely distributed to editors, producers and publishers and also to officials in Government departments, military commanders, chief constables and some institutions. The Notices have no legal standing and advice offered within their framework may be accepted or rejected partly or wholly.

World Finance Simplified?

An Argentine opinion on the Global Financial Crisis, describing the whole Global Financial System as one vast Ponzi Scheme. Like a pyramid, it has four sides and is a predictable model. The four sides are: (1) Artificially control the supply of public State-issued Currency, (2) Artificially impose Banking Money as the primary source of funding in the economy, (3) Promote doing everything by Debt and (4) Erect complex channels that allow privatizing profits when the Model is in expansion mode and socialize losses when the model goes into contraction mode.

How will the Global Financial Collapse end? Are we on the way towards global war and world government?

Thoughts

I am a selfish person.

I bin thinking about me. I dicide what to do any specific moment. At that time I have only the experience of the past and am trying to manupilate the future for myself. Though I have infinite avenues to take after the next instance, I only know a fraction and I am quite sure that I can take any of the avenues in the fuiture I can take, and take one of them. And after that instance I realise the next and carry on after, the same way.

Now I started to think about A Country in the World with comparison with me. I feel that there is no difference the action taken by me and the action taken by a country. Because that country's representative has been elected by the population's majority. There might be a simple solution to this thought than what I try to make you believe.
