This is somethong which I noticed in the news recently. the food shortage in the world.
"Two million children in India die and turn into statistics every year. That's about 6,000 deaths everyday. A CNN-IBN Special Investigation travelled to the rural heartlands of UP to document deaths and cases of malnutrition for a special edition of 30 Minutes. Here's the first installment from UP's Varanasi and Lalitpur districts."
In Booming India, Hunger Kills 6,000 Kids Daily
"The United Nations body World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that the rise in global food prices will reduce its ability to feed hungry and malnourished people.
Speaking last month in Rome, where the WFP is based, WFP Executive Director Josette Sheeran said, “Our ability to reach people is going down just as needs go up.... We are seeing a new face of hunger in which people are being priced out of the food market.... Situations that were previously not urgent—they are now.”
In a press release, the WFP gave a new estimate for the funds needed for its work this year at nearly US$3.5 billion, half a billion more than estimated last year. This money is for approved projects to feed 73 million people in 78 countries throughout the world. It notes that this money is for projected feeding schemes and does not include unforeseen emergencies that may arise.
It also notes that the poorest people on earth will have to spend an increasing portion of their meagre income on food. The WFP warns that these people will be forced to buy less food, or less nutritious food, or rely on outside help."
Global Food Prices Rise And Famine Increases
After Philliphines and Indonesia Cambodia has banned export of rice.
"Cambodia has become the latest Asian country to impose restrictions on exports of rice – the staple food for half the world's population.
The government announced the two-month export ban to ensure "food security" on Thursday, blaming surging overseas demand – particularly in Africa and the Middle East - for the skyrocketing cost of rice."

Here I was looking at two places in the world who has problems with their staple diet, Rice.
"At least four Haitians were killed and around 25 others wounded in demonstrations-turned-riots in southern Haiti with U.N. peacekeepers, according to the local reports.
On the second day of demonstrations related to the anti-poverty and against the rising prices on Friday, riots broke out among the armed protesters and clashes were reported between the United Nations peacekeepers and the people.
Violence engulfed different parts of Haiti for the last two days over the rising food prices including rice, fruits and beans that have surged by more than 50 percent over the last 12 months in the region."
Yeah right, when you consider Haiti is colonised by the US and conned the UN to send peace keepers. Do not forget that the democratically elected prime minister, had to flee the country and living in Africa at the moment. That was US instigated riots.
"Haiti, which face food crisis that is threatening the country's vulnerable security, holds 8.5 million people with only marginal number of people earning less than two dollars per day.
"We know that these demonstrations have been infiltrated by individuals linked to drug dealers and other smugglers," Haiti's Prime Minister, Jacques Edouard Alexis, condemning the violence told BBC News report on Saturday.
He added that the country has already spent almost $10 million to curb the rising food prices and to make the food aid schemes available to the people."

The impact will be felt most keenly by the world's poorest populations, who have become increasingly dependent on the crop as the prices of other grains have become too costly."
But do not forget that US policy through the WTO made the American GM rice dirt cheap in the third world countries and people stopped growing their own rice, as it will not sell in their own country due to American rice.
"Analysts have cited many factors for the rises, including rising fuel and fertiliser expenses, as well as climate change. But while drought is one factor, another is the switch from food to biofuel production in large areas of the world, in particular to fulfil the US energy demands. A continuing change in the global diet is also putting a further squeeze on rice. In China, for example, 100 million rural migrants to the country's big cities have switched from a staple of wheat to rice as they have become wealthier."

"Sri Lanka’s official annualised inflation rate skyrocketed to 28 percent in March, up from 24 percent in February. Prices for essential food items are soaring—the inflation rate for food and beverages reached a staggering 37 percent—while transport prices and housing rents followed with 24 percent and 11 percent respectively.
Over the past three months, the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI) has jumped by 487 points, from 5,955 in December to 6,442 in March, and the impact is sharply eroding the living standards of workers, the rural poor and students. People are particularly angry because the price of rice, the main staple food in Sri Lanka, has nearly doubled since January last year, causing immense hardship. Worse conditions lie ahead. The government has admitted that bread prices could rise to 100 rupees by the end of this year, a threefold increase."

So we have Phillipines, Indonesia, Cambodia, China, India, Egypt, Vietnam, Egypt, Haiti and now in Sri Lanka. In a way it is good that people can see the large differnce between how we in UK live and other countries. But will it be too late for us in the near future where we might have to tighten our belts or kill someone for a morsal of food? Hmmmm it is nice to see BBC news on the same subject. Yeah BBC news and lots of media has taken up the issue. My last post, about the subject. In this article there is a bit more stats and different points of view.

You have probably seen the figures by now: the price of rice has risen by three-quarters over the past year, that of wheat by 130%. There are food crises in 37 countries. One hundred million people, according to the World Bank, could be pushed into deeper poverty by the high prices.
But I bet that you have missed the most telling statistic. At 2,1-billion tonnes, the global grain harvest broke all records last year -- it beat the previous year's by almost 5%. The crisis, in other words, has begun before world food supplies are hit by climate change. If hunger can strike now, what will happen if harvests decline?"
Media so far has been telling a lie about the harvest init? They said the global harvest failed?
"The World Bank points out that "the grain required to fill the tank of a sports utility vehicle with ethanol ... could feed one person for a year". "
Oh dear, what fun?
"This year global stockpiles of cereals will decline by about 53-million tonnes; this gives you a rough idea of the size of the hunger gap. The production of biofuels will consume almost 100-million tonnes, which suggests that they are directly responsible for the current crisis."
Good on you Ruth Kelly, you are getting us into a muddle annd you knows it!
"While 100-million tonnes of food will be diverted this year to feed cars, 760-million tonnes will be snatched from the mouths of humans to feed animals -- which could cover the global food deficit 14 times. If you care about hunger, eat less meat.
While meat consumption is booming in Asia and Latin America, in the United Kingdom it has scarcely changed since the government started gathering data in 1974. At just over 1kg per person per week, it's still about 40% above the global average, though less than half the amount consumed in the United States.
We eat less beef and more chicken than we did 30 years ago, which means a smaller total impact. Beef cattle eat about 8kg of grain or meal for every kilogram of flesh they produce; a kilogram of chicken needs just 2kg of feed. Even so, our consumption rate is plainly unsustainable."
STOP: There is good news as well on the food front. For the people who like their spuds it is good news of course.
"The potato has potential as an antidote to hunger caused by higher food prices, a population that is growing by one billion people each decade, climbing costs for fertilizer and diesel, and more cropland being sown for biofuel production.
To focus attention on this, the United Nations named 2008 the International Year of the Potato, calling the vegetable a "hidden treasure"."

Things I Feel, I Am; And Feel, Am I?
I was watching snooker and saw that sometimes the presentators do snide remarks on each other. But you can see in the face of the reciever a slight of the zero degree but it is there. Now can we do it in real time in normal circumstances or am I doing it now and I myself have not realised it.

Snooker And Kick In A Shot.
Snooker: 'Kick' during a shot.
Those days when there were no 'kicks' on a snooker table, the boffins say the only difference is the thickness of the cloth.
If, when the white ball (WB) hits the object ball (OB), the white ball is moving towords the OB and the OB is stationary. So the cloth underneath the OB is stationary. The cloth underneath the WB is getting pushed by the WB. Somewhere before/after WB hits the OB there can be a little wrinkle due to the thinness of the cloth, which can make either ball react chaotically.

Did You Know
Did you know that a drug dealer broke into a prison to deal drugs in that prison and there was a good chance for prisoners to escape and they did not do it; because it is so good in the prison that out side life is worse. You get drugs, whores and food with washed clothes, beds and warmth inside than outside. good one lets go to prison. Wonder how much the researcher knows about life inside?

Are We Here And Now At Any Time?
I have been trying to practice to be here and now, as much of my life as possible. Reason for this was because I found out that my time is going faster as I grow older.
So I debated and the reason is; when I was a child I experienced a lots of things and the day seems to be longer. Then as I grew up I took most of the things for granted and new things I experienced become smaller and smaller. So the day is shorter by comparison.
Though there is another reason which propt up in the debate; say for instance the way we measure time from atoms, the time we measure from stars, and the time we measure from plant cells are mutually associated and the time is actually going faster.
So I came across this article about the same subject Here and Now. What the authour says is that we have so many gadgets when we are travelling or doing something like walking the park we are doing something else as well. Like in the bus how many people are on the phone, texting or emailing and not in the bus at all. Going for a walk some people listening to music. Are they acually there at all is what the man is saying.
"This morning on a crowded bus I counted six people within my immediate view, texting, talking on the cell phone, checking e-mail, listening to iPods. In other words, they were trying to keep the bus from being their only space, their only reality. And what was I doing? I recorded what I observed in my laptop, of course."
And then:
"As a result Buddhist teachings on mindfulness could very well be on the retreat. How can we be fully "here and now," how do we keep our ego in check, when we keep ogling the electronic mirror and watching ourselves gavotte? In our deep yearning to be noticed, and to reach some kind of immortality, we are increasingly making fools of ourselves."

British government lied about 2007 Persian Gulf naval incident

Now it is becoming clear that the Blair Gov lied about the incident all along.
"Secret Ministry of Defence documents released to the Times newspaper reveal that the British government lied about the circumstances surrounding the capture of 15 sailors and marines from HMS Cornwall in the Persian Gulf by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRG) in March 2007.
The navy personnel were part of Britain’s contingent in a US-led naval force mustered by the Bush administration aimed against Tehran, demanding that Iran end its nuclear programme and alleged sponsorship of the insurgency in Iraq. The US, with two aircraft carrier battle groups, had built up its largest naval presence in the region since it launched the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Britain had doubled the size of its naval presence over the preceding six months."
This is the WSWS article. All the main media are ignoring it as news. No surprises there.

What Are Chinese Soldiers Doing In Zimbabwe?
THe Chinky soldiers were seen patrolling the streets of Zimbabwe, in the third largest city, Mutare.
"Earlier, 10 Chinese soldiers armed with pistols checked in at the city's Holiday Inn along with 70 Zimbabwean troops.
One eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said: "We've never seen Chinese soldiers in full regalia on our streets before. The entire delegation took 80 rooms from the hotel, 10 for the Chinese and 70 for Zimbabwean soldiers."
Officially, the Chinese were visiting strategic locations such as border posts, key companies and state institutions, he said. But it is unclear why they were patrolling at such a sensitive time. They were supposed to stay five days, but left after three to travel to Masvingo, in the south."

Did You Know
That the Iraq Gov has accumilated $30 billion in reserves; no wonder the US law makers are asking the Iraq to fund its war. Hmmmmmm... I likes it. Water Is Getting Scarce In US Giggle Giggle
Now this is good for the story books. The 'Top Dog' of the world is running out of Water.
"So far we have assumed that we can undertake any development we want, wherever we want, or we could grow whatever we want, however we want, and that water will always be available to support that growth. In the process we are draining our aquifers, polluting our rivers, tampering with ecosystems and destroying the diversity of life -- as if nature is ours to be manipulated to suit our wants. It is time to change some of our practices."
Well the dog will have to lick itself now! Sweat might be enough for it.

Hedge Fund Managers Get Rich When We Suffer
This is happening in US at the moment. Got to find out whether the same is happening in UK? Any ideas happy to read.
"The annual ranking of top hedge fund earners compiled by Alpha, a magazine that caters to wealthy and institutional investors, reports that the top money-maker, John Paulson, took home $3.7 billion last year, probably the richest singe-year haul in Wall Street history.
Paulson, the founder of Paulson & Company, was not the only multi-billion-dollar hedge fund winner. He was followed by George Soros, who took in $2.9 billion, and James H. Simons, who netted $2.8 billion.
The top 50 hedge fund managers took in a combined sum of $29 billion."
Thats filthy init?
"To place these astronomical figures in some perspective, the combined take of these 50 individuals is about the same as the annual gross domestic product of Kenya, a country of 32.5 million people, and a billion dollars less than the GDP of Sri Lanka, the home of 20 million people."
Now the article explains what it is compared to the rest of us:
"What do these gargantuan incomes say about the parasitism of American capitalism and the social inequities it engenders? If one takes Paulson’s income for all of 2007 and divides it by 365, one arrives at a daily take of $10, 137,000. This breaks down to $422,374 an hour, $7,040 a minute, and $117 per second.
The wage of the average American worker is about $17.50. If one were to assume that Paulson worked a 40-hour per week, 52-week schedule, his hourly “wage” would be 24,136 times that of the average worker in the US.
Every hour, Paulson took in a sum nearly equal to the median yearly income ($60,500) of seven American families. The combined $29 billion that went to the top 50 hedge fund managers is equivalent to the median annual income of 479,000 US families."

Why Israel Does Not Want Peace

"WHAT IS the heart of peace? A border.
When two neighboring peoples make peace, they fix, first of all, the border between them.
And that is precisely what the Israeli establishment opposes, because it negates the basic ethos of the Zionist enterprise.
True, at different points in time the Zionist movement has drawn up maps. After World War I, it submitted to the peace conference the map of a Jewish state extending from the Litani River in Lebanon to El-Arish in the Sinai desert. The map of Vladimir Ze'ev Jabotinsky, which became the Irgun emblem, copied the borders of the original British Mandate on both sides of the Jordan. Israel Eldad, one of the Stern Group leaders, distributed for many years a map of the Israeli Empire that reached from the Mediterranean to the Euphrates and included all of Jordan and Lebanon, with great chunks of Syria and Egypt thrown in. His son, the extreme right-wing Member of the Knesset Arieh Eldad, has not given up this map. And after the Six Day War, the map favored by the right-wing covered all the conquests, including the Golan Heights and the entire Sinai peninsula.

That is the real agenda, unchanging, hidden, conscious and unconscious. It does not need decisions, formulations or maps, because it is encoded in the genes of the movement. This explains, among other things, the phenomenon described in the report of senior prosecution lawyer Talia Sasson on the settlements: that all the organs of the establishment, the government and the military, without any official coordination but with miraculously effective cooperation, acted to set up the "illegal" settlements. Every one of the thousands of officials and officers who spent decades involved in this enterprise knew exactly what to do, even without receiving any instructions.
That is the reason for David Ben-Gurion's refusal to include in the Declaration of Independence of the new State of Israel any mention of borders. He did not intend for a minute to be satisfied with the borders fixed by the United Nations General Assembly resolution of November 29, 1947. All his successors had the same approach. Even the Oslo agreements delineated "zones" but did not fix a border. President Bush accepted this approach when he proposed a "Palestinian state with provisional borders" - a novelty in international law.
In this respect, too, Israel resembles the United States, which was founded along the Eastern seaboard and did not rest until it had reached the Western shores on the other side of the continent. The incessant stream of mass immigration from Europe flowed on westwards, breaching all borders and violating all agreements, exterminating the Native Americans, starting a war against Mexico, conquering Texas, invading Central America and Cuba. The slogan that drove them on and justified all their actions was coined in 1845 by John O'Sullivan: "Manifest Destiny".
The Israeli version of "Manifest Destiny" is Moshe Dayan's slogan "We are fated". Dayan, a typical representative of the second generation, made two important speeches in his life. The first and better known was delivered in 1956 at the grave of Roy Rutenberg of Nahal Oz, a kibbutz facing Gaza: "Before their [the Palestinians in Gaza] very eyes we turn into our homestead the land and villages in which they and their forefathers have lived This is the fate of our generation, the choice of our life - to be prepared and armed, strong and tough - or otherwise, the sword will slip from our fist, and our life will be snuffed out."
He did not mean only his own generation. The second, lesser known speech is more important. It was delivered in August 1968, after the occupation of the Golan Heights, before a rally of young Kibbutzniks. When I asked him about it in the Knesset, he inserted the entire speech into the Knesset record, a very unusual procedure in our parliament.
This is what he told the youth: "We are fated to live in a permanent state of fighting against the Arabs For the hundred years of the Return to Zion we are working for two things: the building of the land and the building of the people That is a process of expansion, of more Jews and more settlements That is a process that has not reached the end. We were born here and found our parents, who had come here before us It is not your duty to reach the end. Your duty is to add your layer to expand the settlement to the best of your ability, during your lifetime ... (and) not to say: this is the end, up to here, we have finished."
Dayan, who was well versed in the ancient texts, probably had in mind the phrase in the Chapter of the Fathers (a part of the Mishnah, which was finished 1800 years ago and formed the basis of the Talmud): "It is not up to you to finish the work, and you are not free to stop doing it."
That is the hidden agenda. We must haul it up from the depths of our unconscious minds to the realm of consciousness in order to face it, to reveal the terrible danger inherent in it, the danger of an eternal war which may in the fullness of time lead this state to disaster.
Approaching the 60th anniversary of the state, we must draw a line under this chapter of our history, exorcise the dybbuk and say clearly: yes, we have ended the chapter of expansion and settlement.
This will enable us to change the course of the river. To put an end to the occupation. To dismantle the settlements. To make peace. To effect a reconciliation with the neighboring people. To turn Israel into a peaceful, democratic, secular and liberal state, that can devote all its resources to the creation of a flourishing, modern society.
And first of all: to agree on a border."

Why?
65% of the people of second generation from Indian peninsula, in this country, feel they are British.
66% of the same population, keep in touch with what happens in their own country.
Lots of these communities have their own areas.
Does it mean that, what the government is doing is segragating differnt communities in differnt areas, so that the gov can mobilise them into any action any time, the gov wants, by creating a propoganda through the already biased media? For Example an election in Pakistan. What amount of weight does the British Gov carry?

The World Hunger Is Growing (Updated)

"Sri Lanka’s official annualised inflation rate skyrocketed to 28 percent in March, up from 24 percent in February. Prices for essential food items are soaring—the inflation rate for food and beverages reached a staggering 37 percent—while transport prices and housing rents followed with 24 percent and 11 percent respectively.
Over the past three months, the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI) has jumped by 487 points, from 5,955 in December to 6,442 in March, and the impact is sharply eroding the living standards of workers, the rural poor and students. People are particularly angry because the price of rice, the main staple food in Sri Lanka, has nearly doubled since January last year, causing immense hardship. Worse conditions lie ahead. The government has admitted that bread prices could rise to 100 rupees by the end of this year, a threefold increase."

So we have Phillipines, Indonesia, Cambodia, China, India, Egypt, Vietnam, Egypt, Haiti and now in Sri Lanka. In a way it is good that people can see the large differnce between how we in UK live and other countries. But will it be too late for us in the near future where we might have to tighten our belts or kill someone for a morsal of food? Hmmmm it is nice to see BBC news on the same subject. Salvadore Option
What is "The Salvador Option"?
"The Salvador Option was a term quoted in a 8 January 2005 article in Newsweek[1]. This phrase was used to refer to options then being intensely debated in Pentagon and Iraqi government circles for dealing with the rapidly growing insurgency movement in Iraq, drawing an explicit analogy to the U.S. military involvement in El Salvador, in which quasi-official death squads were instrumental in bringing a decade-long war against FMLN to a close. The article quoted anonymous military insiders, and did not specify the precise origin of the phrase "Salvador Option", or explicitly say that those words were actually used by Pentagon sources.
According to Newsweek:
"...one Pentagon proposal would send Special Forces teams to advise, support and possibly train Iraqi squads, most likely hand-picked Kurdish Peshmerga fighters and Shiite militiamen, to target Sunni insurgents and their sympathizers, even across the border into Syria, according to military insiders familiar with the discussions. It remains unclear, however, whether this would be a policy of assassination or so-called "snatch" operations, in which the targets are sent to secret facilities for interrogation. The current thinking is that while U.S. Special Forces would lead operations in, say, Syria, activities inside Iraq itself would be carried out by Iraqi paramilitaries."[1]
Former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld has publicly denounced the Newsweek article as "nonsense", when directly asked if such a policy was under consideration, he answered "Why would I even talk about something like that?" [2]. Observers of the Iraqi conflict have taken these and other cues to argue that the "Salvador Option" was put into operation. They point in particular to the existence of a Shi'ite led unit affiliated with the Iraqi ministry known as the Wolf Brigade.[2]"

So what the hell is going on. We suspect this in Iraq at the moment. Is that it. I waned to dig into this after I got tripped off by an Flash web media site called

"Top secret army cell breaks terrorists; 1:09am GMT 05/02/2007", claims that we British have a 'bit' of experience from the Northern Ireland skirmishes with the Irish. So what they did in NI was got hold of all the terrorists they can find who will turn coat and trained them to go and terrorise the people of NI. Simple reason is, if there is terrorist activities in NI then british Military have to be there to protect the decent people of the country. They become experts in that and infiltrated the Irish Liberation Movement in every possible level. That is well documented.
So after the Iraq invation our boys has been very successful at it in Iraq. They have saved lots of lives by this method as this points out:

So this "Joint Support Group (JSG)" of the British Army is the best secret weapon we have in Iraq. Americans are at awe of the subject. Well we will come to that point later. The recruitment and running of JSG can be found in the article. So we have our own spies in Iraq.
But can we make them do things like bomb someone else and then of course if that person is a liability we can kill them without recourse. Is UK's Sunday Telegraph a right wing war mongering media outlet? You decide. Neil Mackay Home Affairs Editor (Sunday Herald) on Nov 19 2000 wrote about the JSG in an article called 'My unit conspired in the murder of civilians in Ireland'.
So JSG was known as Force Research Unit or FRU. That was in NI back in between 1987 and 1991, and was commanded by Brigadier Gordon Kerr. By Nov 19 2000 he was in Beijing as the British military attaché. Hang on this is getting a bit spooky as this guy was investigated on killings of Irish civilians by Sir John Stevens, Scotland Yard Commissioner. Kerr was suspected in carrying out an arson attack on Stephen's digs in NI. This part of the scene is very nicely hidden by the British Gov. Psst....don't talk about it.
Well from the article you can see that there was "institutionalised collusion" between the security forces and loyalist terrorists and Kerr was involved in it. As it says:

This article is not looking at the bright side of spookyness init? But now we can see a bit of the shady side. So according to 'Exposing Gordon Kerr and Tony Blair’s secret army', where do you think Brig Kerr is now or atleast in 7 April 2007. Iraq. He is in charge of Joint Support Group (JSG) and Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR), working alongside US covert forces in the aptly named “Task Force Black”.
"In July 2005, the SRR was involved in the surveillance operation which led to the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes at Stockwell tube station in London.
SRR officers were apparently engaged in “low-level intelligence behind the scenes” when Jean Charles was shot. According to the “military sources”, this was the first time the new regiment had been engaged in an operation.
In December that year two British soldiers in the SRR were arrested by police in Iraq.
Who were the two men and what were they doing when they were seized outside al-Jamiat police station in Basra?
What prompted British soldiers to smash down the wall of the station and demolish several buildings inside the compound in the operation to snatch them back?
At the request of the MoD, the British media obscured the faces of the two captured men (pictured above).
They had been sitting in a car outside the police station in Arabic dress. They were heavily armed and had an impressive array of surveillance equipment with them.
It was claimed at the time that the two undercover men had opened fire when they were stopped at a police roadblock, killing at least one police officer. They were part of the Britain’s undercover war in Iraq."

The Anglo-American Dirty War in Iraq
So we have a bit of the UK involvement in this issue. Who are the players from Iraq. I mean 'free' Iraq. 13 November 2005 the world woke up to the news of Jadiriyah detention facility in Baghdad, which had become a virtual byword for medieval torture chamber. Around 15 Decemeber 2003 "the Bush administration was planning to stand up a special forces group (Task Force 121), whose highest priority would be the ‘neutralisation’ of Baathist ‘insurgents’ by capture or assassination, specifically targeting what was referred to as the ‘broad middle’ of the Baathist underground." And around 5 November 2003, Paul Bremmer had agreed with the Iraqi Governing Council to the establishment of an 800-strong Iraqi paramilitary unit, whose operatives were to be drawn from former security forces personnel and members of the armed wings of the five main opposition (exile) parties. March 2004 there was a militia organisation known as ‘Black Flag’, which was able to openly patrol on a main street in Baghdad’s Adhamiya district. The group’s banner incorporated the sword of Shiite founding saint Imam Ali, but, when interviewed, militiamen claimed the group’s 5000 members included Sunni Arabs and Kurds. The group witnessed by IWPR had in its possession a list of 21 suspects, mostly belonging to two prominent Sunni tribes.
So after successfully trying out various paramilitaries in Iraq the government was 'handed over' to the Iraqs in 2005. The Interoor Ministry is in control of the Special Investigations Unit.

So this "Joint Support Group (JSG)" of the British Army is the best secret weapon we have in Iraq. Americans are at awe of the subject. Well we will come to that point later. The recruitment and running of JSG can be found in the article. So we have our own spies in Iraq.
But can we make them do things like bomb someone else and then of course if that person is a liability we can kill them without recourse. Neil Mackay Home Affairs Editor (Sunday Herald) on Nov 19 2000 wrote about the JSG in an article called 'My unit conspired in the murder of civilians in Ireland'.
So JSG was known as Force Research Unit or FRU. That was in NI back in between 1987 and 1991, and was commanded by Brigadier Gordon Kerr. By Nov 19 2000 he was in Beijing as the British military attaché. Hang on this is getting a bit spooky as this guy was investigated on killings of Irish civilians by Sir John Stevens, Scotland Yard Commissioner. Kerr was suspected in carrying out an arson attack on Stephen's digs in NI. This part of the scene is very nicely hidden by the British Gov. Psst....don't talk about it.

March 2004 there was a militia organisation known as ‘Black Flag’, which was able to openly patrol on a main street in Baghdad’s Adhamiya district. The group’s banner incorporated the sword of Shiite founding saint Imam Ali, but, when interviewed, militiamen claimed the group’s 5000 members included Sunni Arabs and Kurds. The group witnessed by IWPR had in its possession a list of 21 suspects, mostly belonging to two prominent Sunni tribes.
So after successfully trying out various paramilitaries in Iraq the government was 'handed over' to the Iraqs in 2005. The Interoor Ministry is in control of the Special Investigations Unit.

Now Why Do We Have A Jewish Problem?

The World Hunger Is Growing (Updated)
Here I was looking at two places in the world who has problems with their staple diet, Rice.

On the second day of demonstrations related to the anti-poverty and against the rising prices on Friday, riots broke out among the armed protesters and clashes were reported between the United Nations peacekeepers and the people.
Violence engulfed different parts of Haiti for the last two days over the rising food prices including rice, fruits and beans that have surged by more than 50 percent over the last 12 months in the region."
Yeah right, when you consider Haiti is colonised by the US and conned the UN to send peace keepers. Do not forget that the democratically elected prime minister, had to flee the country and living in Africa at the moment. That was US instigated riots.
"Haiti, which face food crisis that is threatening the country's vulnerable security, holds 8.5 million people with only marginal number of people earning less than two dollars per day.
"We know that these demonstrations have been infiltrated by individuals linked to drug dealers and other smugglers," Haiti's Prime Minister, Jacques Edouard Alexis, condemning the violence told BBC News report on Saturday.
He added that the country has already spent almost $10 million to curb the rising food prices and to make the food aid schemes available to the people."

So here I was .....
Just thinking about the program I watched last night. I seen it before. The boffin Hawkings - "Master of the Universe". Fair enough he has done hell of a lot for Physics; more than anyone for a while. I said a while. He is good no.....he is the best in that field; but we should think different from the way given by the ruling party or Hawkings, as if you believe in what he says as gospel truth, you are going to be in trouble. Each and every individual being is driven by it's own logic. If I beleave in a certain logic of another person, then I do not have my own logic. That is what faith is. As Saint Ignatius of Loyola said to his followers to become like a piece of wood, and live like a piece of wood giving all actions to be of God and not to take any there of. Its the will of the God properly laid out by the Bible they followed. That way all thinking is of God. Yes it can be good if you can do it 100%. I dont think Saint himself was capable of doing it. Please do correct me if I am wrong here, but I am talking about 100% and Saint is dead.
So my point is Mr Hawkings have spent a lot of time on this subject and want to find a solution before he dies. So did Mr Einsein init? Some of what he proved at that time ...bless him.... has been reproved to a more closer point of accuracy, but some of them has been proven wrong. So will Mr Hawkings or anyone elses for that matter. That is the reason I want not to have total blind belief in this theory of everything.

"The United Nations body World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that the rise in global food prices will reduce its ability to feed hungry and malnourished people.
Speaking last month in Rome, where the WFP is based, WFP Executive Director Josette Sheeran said, “Our ability to reach people is going down just as needs go up.... We are seeing a new face of hunger in which people are being priced out of the food market.... Situations that were previously not urgent—they are now.”
In a press release, the WFP gave a new estimate for the funds needed for its work this year at nearly US$3.5 billion, half a billion more than estimated last year. This money is for approved projects to feed 73 million people in 78 countries throughout the world. It notes that this money is for projected feeding schemes and does not include unforeseen emergencies that may arise.
It also notes that the poorest people on earth will have to spend an increasing portion of their meagre income on food. The WFP warns that these people will be forced to buy less food, or less nutritious food, or rely on outside help."

Obama Or Not
I am not really intersted in US politics as it is the same whenever it comes out of the hell hole where it lives. Two party system controlled by the big companies. All the small people write blogs and write to the law makers and news papers but nothing changes. And it is getting worse as the law makers are getting rid of the constitution, one bit at a time, on which the whole country was built. But I could not ignore this article which brings out more about the election farce which is taking place now. Here is part of the article.

1. His biggest contributors are Wall Street banks and corporate law firms.

2. He won’t end the U.S. occupation of Iraq.
While Obama says he would end the war in 2009, like Clinton he has been very careful to call only for the removal of combat troops from Iraq. His position might look good when compared to McCain’s statements about staying in Iraq for 100 years. In reality, Obama’s plan would also maintain tens of thousands of troops, special operations forces, and bases – as well as private mercenaries like Blackwater - in Iraq for years to come.

Michael Moore’s film Sicko has provided ample evidence to show the key problem with the U.S. healthcare system is that it is controlled by big, for-profit insurance companies and HMOs, yet Obama wants to leave power in their hands.

In the Ohio primaries, Obama decried how corporate free trade deals like NAFTA have hurt millions of working people. That Mr Bush has exempted Pakistan from a law that limits funding to countries where the head of state was deposed by a military coup, as President Pervez Musharraf had done in Pakistan.
The White House released a copy of a memorandum sent by Mr Bush to US secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice, entitled "a determination to waive military coup-related" provision.
While it does not reveal any details of appropriations, Mr Bush has asked the US congress to approve $300 million in security assistance for Pakistan.

"I hereby determine and certify, with respect to Pakistan, that a waiver .. would facilitate the transition to democratic rule in Pakistan and it is important to US efforts to respond to deter, or prevent acts of international terrorism," said Mr Bush in the memorandum

According to Fuel Line, the official newsletter of the Pentagon’s fuel-buying component, the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC), from October 1, 2001, to August 9, 2004, the DESC supplied 1,897,272,714 gallons of jet fuel, alone, for military operations in Afghanistan. Similarly, in less than a year and a half, from March 19, 2003, to August 9, 2004, the DESC provided U.S. forces with 1,109,795,046 gallons of jet fuel for operations in Iraq. In 2005, Lana Hampton of the DoD’s Defense Logistics Agency revealed that the military’s aircraft, ships, and ground vehicles were guzzling 10 to 11 million barrels of fuel each month in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere. Yet, while the Pentagon reportedly burns through an astounding 365,000 barrels of oil every day (the equivalent of the entire nation of Sweden’s daily consumption), Sohbet Karbuz, an expert on global oil markets, estimates that the number is really closer to 500,000 barrels.
With such unconstrained consumption, recent U.S. wars have been a boon for big oil and have seen the Pentagon rise from the rank of hopeless addict to superjunkie. Prior to George Bush’s Global War on Terror, the U.S. military admitted to guzzling 4.62 billion gallons of oil per year. With the Pentagon’s post-9/11 wars and occupations, annual oil consumption has grown to an almost unfathomable 5.46 billion gallons, according to the Pentagon’s possibly low-ball statistics.
As a result, the DoD had some of the planet’s biggest petroleum dealers, and masters of the corporate universe, on its payroll. In 2005, alone, the Pentagon paid out more than $1.5 billion to BP PLC – the company formerly known as Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (on whose behalf the CIA and its British counterpart covertly overthrew the Iranian government back in 1953) and then British Petroleum. In 2005, the Pentagon also paid out over $1 billion to N. V. Koninklijke Nederlandsche Petroleum Maatschappij -- also known as the Royal Dutch Petroleum Company (and best known in the United States for its Shell brand gasoline) – and in excess of $1 billion to oil titan ExxonMobil.
In 2005, ExxonMobil, Royal Dutch Petroleum, and BP ranked sixth, seventh, and eighth on the Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s five hundred largest corporations in terms of revenue. The next year, they bumped their way up to first, third, and fourth, respectively. They also ranked 29th, 30th, and 31st on the DoD’s 2006 list of top contractors, collectively raking in over $3.5 billion from the Pentagon. It’s almost impossible to catalog all the companies with at least some ties to the oil game that are doing business with the Department of Defense, but if just the most obvious names on DoD’s payroll are any indication, the U.S. military is mainlining petroleum from a remarkable assortment of places. For instance, in 2005 alone, the Pentagon payroll listed 145 companies (from A & M Oil to Wyandotte Tribal petroleum).
These 145 companies -- far from constituting a complete list of energy-related firms on the DoD dole – took in more than 8 billion taxpayer dollars in 2005. To put that figure in perspective, that was more than the army paid out in the same year to the military-corporate powerhouses Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, General Electric, and the Bechtel Corporation, combined. Or over $2.7 billion more than it spent in 2005 on bombs, grenades, guided missiles, guided missile launchers, unmanned aerial vehicles, bulk explosives, all guns, rockets, rocket launchers, and helicopters.
No doubt due to his outfit’s penchant for petroleum guzzling, in 2005, then secretary of defense Rumsfeld issued a memo calling on DoD staff to develop plans for employing alternative power sources and energy-saving technologies. As defense technology expert Noah Shachtman noted in early 2007, while the “Department of Defense might not care about the environment,” it had met its green goals ahead of schedule. As a result, the Pentagon now touts itself as environmentally conscious, drawing attention to its use of wind power at the naval station at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and its dabblings in “cleaner, ‘greener’ hybrid fuel.” On March 24, 2006, the Pentagon’s American Forces Press Service published an article, “Hydrogen Fuel Cells May Help U.S. Military Cut Gas Usage,” speculating that someday such technology might significantly reduce the military’s “dependence on hydrocarbon-based fuels for transportation needs.”
That day is not yet in sight. In fact, on March 23, 2006, the day before that article was published, the Pentagon quietly announced a series of DoD contracts that demonstrated the degree of its continuing addiction to oil: a $241,265,176 deal with Valero Energy; a $171,409,329 agreement with Shell Oil; separate contracts of $156,616,405 and $23,923,354 with ConocoPhillips; a $124,152,364 agreement with Refinery Associates of Texas; a $121,053,450 deal with Calumet Shreveport Fuels; a $118,374,201 jet fuel contract with Gary-Williams Energy Corporation; a $75,094,613 agreement with AGE Refining; a $43,994,360 deal with Tesoro Refining; and a $29,524,800 contract with Western Petroleum – all of which had a completion date of April 30, 2007.
Couple this with the fact that, on Rumsfeld’s watch, the Environmental Protection Agency granted the DoD a “national security exemption” on trucks that failed to meet current emissions standards; that the army canceled plans to introduce “hybrid-diesel humvees” (the current military model gets just four miles per gallon in city driving and an equally dismal eight miles per gallon on the highway); and that it similarly dropped plans to retrofit the fuel-guzzling Abrams tank with a more efficient diesel engine (the current model, in service in Iraq, gets less than a mile per gallon), while the air force deep-sixed plans for the possible replacement of aging “surveillance, cargo and tanker aircraft engines” – and you’re looking at a Pentagon patently incapable of altering its addiction-addled ways in any near future.
Since then, it’s been more of the same. In March 2007, the Pentagon, now under Rumsfeld’s replacement, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, went on a two-day bender of epic proportions. On March 22 and 23, the DoD announced that it had struck “fixed price with economic price adjustment” deals, to be fulfilled by April 30, 2008, with ExxonMobil, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Valero, Refinery Associates of Texas, and ten other petrogiants to the tune of $4 billion. Another petro-binge occurred around the 2007 Labor Day holiday. Over the course of three days, the DoD acknowledged fuel contracts with BP, Chevron, Tesoro, and four others worth more than $1.4 billion.
The Pentagon needs two things to survive: war and oil. And it can’t make the first if it doesn’t have the second. In fact, the Pentagon’s methods of mass destruction -- fighters, bombers, tanks, Humvees, and other vehicles -- burn 75 percent of the fuel used by the DoD. For example, B-52 bombers consume 47,000 gallons per mission over Afghanistan. But don’t expect big oil (or even smaller petroplayers) to turn off the tap for peace. Such corporations are just as wedded to war as their most loyal junkie. After all, every time an F-16 fighter “kicks in its afterburners and blasts through the sound barrier,” it burns through $300 worth of fuel a minute, while each of those B-52 missions means a $100,000 tax-funded payout.
According to retired lieutenant general Lawrence P. Farrell Jr., the president of the National Defense Industrial Association (“America’s leading Defense Industry association promoting National Security”), the Pentagon is “the single largest consumer of petroleum fuels in the United States.” In fact, it’s the world’s largest energy consumer, according to Shachtman. That, alone, guarantees the military-petroleum complex isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon – just some fuel for thought next time you head out to a Shell, BP, Exxon, or Mobil station to fill ’er up."

Tibet
Well well well even the most hard working researchers do not see the whole view at once. I have an article written by Michael Parenti. It looks as if it is well reserched but I will have to look into it. I did not really know about Tibetan life style and the history of it. Now I got this Article. Hmmmm...I am not quite sure that I shall hate the Chinese for Tibet. But what I found about this article is that most of the reseached articles by Michael Parenti are anti CIA and US. So I have to go deeper to find out about the Tibetan issue.

Basically we know that untill 1911 the Tibet was under Chinese patronage. But after the Chinese revolution in 1911, the British in India used Tibet as a buffer zone against Cina and Russia. Soon after Mao's peasant armies took power in Beijing in 1949, the Chinese army seized Tibet and in 1951 it was formally incorporated into China.
This is the Sino-Tibetan Agreement, Agreement on Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet, [17-Point Agreement of May 23, 1951
(1) The Tibetan people shall unite and drive out imperialist aggressive forces from Tibet; the Tibetan people shall return to the big family of the Motherlans- the People's Republic of China.
(2) The local governemtn of Tibet shall actively assist the PLA to enter Tibet and consolidate the national defences.
(3) In accoradnce with the policy towards nationalities laid own in the Common Programme of the CPPCC, the Tibetan people have the right of exercising national regional autonomy under the unified leadership of the CPG.
(4) The central authorities will not alter the exisiting political system in Tibet. The central authorities also will not alter the established status, functions and powers of the Dalai Lama. Officials of various ranks shall hold office as usual.
(5) The established status, functions and powers of the Panchen Ngoerhtehni shall be maintained.
(6) By the established status, functions and powers of the Dalai Lama and of the Panchen Ngoerhtehni are meant the status, functions and powers of the thirteenth Dalai Lama and of the ninth Panchen Ngoerhtehni when they were in friendly and amicable relations with each other. The policy of freedom and religious belief laid down in the Common Programme of the CPPCC shall be carried out. The religious beliefs, customs and habits of the Tibetan people shall be respected and lama monasteries shall be protected. The central authorities will not effect a change in the income of the monasteries.
(8) Tibetan troops shall be reorganized step by step into the PLA and become a part of the national defence forces of the CPR.
(9) The spoken and written language and school education of the Tibetan nationality shall be developed step by step in accordance with the actual conditions in Tibet.
(10) Tibetan agriculture, livestock-raising, industry and commerce shall be developed step by step and the people's livelihood shall be improved step by step in accordance with the actual conditions in Tibet.
(11) In matters related to various reforms in Tibet, the will be no compulsion on the part of the central authorities. the local government of Tibet should carry out reforms of its own accord, and, when the people raise demands for reform, they shall be settled by means of consultation with the leading personnel of Tibet.
(12) In so far as former pro-imperialist and pro-Kuomintang officials resolutely sever relations with imperialism and the Kuomintang do not engage in sabotage or resistance, they may continue to hold office irrespective of their past.
(13) The PLA entering Tibet shall abide by all the above-mentioned policies and shall also be fair in all buying and selling and shall not arbitrarily take a needle or thread from the people.
(14) The CPG shall have centralized handling of all external affairs of the area of Tibet; and there will be peaceful co-existence with neighbouring countries and establishment and development of fair commercial and trading relations with them on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and mutual respect for territory and sovereignty.
(15) In order to ensure the implementation of this agreement, the CPG shall set up a Military and Administrative Committee and a Military Area HQ in Tibet and- apart from the personnel sent there by the CPG- shall absorb as manylocal Tibetan personnel as possible to take part in the work. Local personnel taking part in the Military and Administrative Committee may include patriotic elements from the local government of Tibet, various district and various principal monasteries; the name-list shall be set forth after consultation between the representatives designated by the CPG and various quarters concerned and shall be submitted to the CPG for appointment.
(16) Funds needed by the Military and Administrative Committee, the Military Area HQ and the PLA entering Tibet shall be provided by the CPG. The local government of Tibet should assist the PLA in the purchase and transport of food, fodder and other daily necessities.
(17) This agreement shall come into force immediately after signature and seals are affixed to it.

After the Chinese take over in 1950 the CIA trained guarillas to sabotage the Chinese rule. Now the CIA exploits are leaking out as the former employees of CIA started boasting about the work they carried out as far back as 1956. While the Dalai Lama, keen to preserve his image as a man of peace, claims not to have been directly involved, his elder brother Gyalo Thondup was at the centre of the operations. According to the magazine's report: “Gyalo Thondup now says he didn't inform his exalted sibling about all of his intelligence connections at the time: ‘This was a very dirty business'.”
The Newsweek article explained: “Beginning in 1958, American operatives trained about 300 Tibetans at Camp Hale in Colorado. The trainees were schooled in spy photography and sabotage, Morse Code and minelaying. Between 1957 and 1960, the CIA dropped more than 400 tonnes of cargo to the resistance. Yet nine out 10 guerrillas who fought in Tibet were killed by the Chinese or committed suicide to evade capture, according to an article by aerospace historian William Leary in the Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine.”
In 1959 Dalai Lama fled Tibet with the aid of CIA snd started a government-in-exile in Napal. “By the mid-60s,” Newsweek explained, “the Tibet operation was costing Washington $1.7 million a year, according to intelligence documents. That included $500,000 subsidy to support 2,100 guerrillas based in Nepal and $180,000 worth of ‘subsidy to the Dalai Lama'.”
US made up with the Chinese after China is allowed to take a seat in UN in 1971. 1972 US President Nixon visits China. US cuts down financing Dali Lama's exiled government and the funds dry up. The Newsweek article quoted the rather bitter remarks of the Dalai Lama: “They [the CIA] gave the impression that once I arrived in India, great support would come from the United States. It's a sad, sad story... The US help was very, very limited.” By 1974, the Dalai Lama was forced to publicly call for an end to armed resistance in Tibet.
Even though the US seems to have stopped the support for Free Tibet movement; right wing people in both parties still have connections and funding. Tibet and Taiwan is the hobbyhorse of these people who are using them for their own ends.
At the same time we should not forget that prior to 1950 the Tibet was ruled by a theocracy rooted in the backward semi-feudal practices of the past. Things were hard for the majority of the Tibetan population, except the rich Lamas including Dalai.
"For instance, Mary Craig in her book Tears of Blood—A Cry for Tibet, with a foreword by the Dalai Lama, provides the following grim picture: “In this strange theocracy administered from Lhasa, all land belonged to the state. Much of this had been granted in the form of hereditary manorial estates to aristocratic families or important monasteries. The government retained a few holdings for its own use, but most of the remaining arable land was leased in strips to small-holding peasants.
“It was a mediaeval feudal society and whether he worked on government property, the monastic estates or on the lands held by the two hundred or so great aristocratic families, the Tibetan peasant was undeniably owned by his master. He had to render a certain amount of compulsory labour in exchange for his own bit of land; and give up the greater portion of his crops to his landlord, keeping the barest minimum necessity for himself and his family. The landlord not only had the right to exact whatever rents he wished, but could also impose cruel punishments for failure to conform. Capital punishment and limb amputation were quite common in some regions.”
Having painted this picture, Craig in the next breath tells us: “Life for the ordinary Tibetan was harsh, but it was not the unmitigated hell claimed by Chinese propaganda... Generally speaking, the Tibetans were not aware of being downtrodden or exploited, and their enormous zest for life was undimmed by desire for a freedom they had never known... Despite the yawning divide in terms of money and material possessions, there was so little resentment of the rich by the poor that in all Tibet's history there had seldom been a popular uprising.”
They had food, shelter and clothes—what more could they want? At any rate, they didn't rebel so they must have been content. All of this reeks of the same appalling indifference and contempt towards the plight of the oppressed as was exhibited by the high lamas themselves and could no doubt be found—with the appropriate changes—among the justifications trotted out by the apologists of, for example, the British Raj in India or Czarist Russia."
There are three main characters in Tibetan system of rule Dalai Lama, Panchen Lama, and Karmapa Lama. They are all Tulkus. Tulku is a Tibetan Buddhist Lama who keeps on been reborn to take the place of the one who died. According to the Tibetan custum the Tulku inherits the wealth of the dead lama. But he is from a different family but of the same school of Buddhism.
The first recognized tulku of this kind within the Vajrayana traditions was the Karmapa, the head of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism; precisely, the first to be recognized as a re-manifestation was the second Karmapa, Karma Pakshi (1024-1283) first Karmapa was Düsum Khyenpa (1110-1193). The Karmapa is now in his 17th incarnation. The wealth of this school is immense.
“If the boy-lama was sent to secure the spiritually vital Black Crown and be installed at Kagyu's Rumtek headquarters, his presence in India could aid Chinese designs both on Sikkim and the Tibetan exile community. He who controls Rumtek also controls the school's $1.2 billion worldwide wealth and commands influence over many Buddhists living in the strategically sensitive Indian Himalayan arc from Arunchal Pradesh to Ladakh. What undergirds India's concerns is the fact that China on its maps still shows Arunchal Pradesh as its territory, Sikkim as independent, and Jammu and Kashmir (other than the parts it occupies) as disputed.”
Blimey that is lots of loot init. No wonder all these super powers want a peice of action on it. See the little kingdoms involved. Now I can understand a bit of the conspiracies involved by the various powers.
Present Dali Lama in the Gelugpa (Dge-lugs-pa) School of Tibetan Buddhism (the school which controlled Tibet from the 16th century until the Communist takeover) was already there in 1950. We all know of him. He is the incarnation of Gendun Drup (1391 – 1474), who was not known as Dalai Lama, First who become known as Dalai Lama was actually the third incarnation Sonam Gyatso, until he was dubbed "Dalai Lama" as an adult, after which he applied the title posthumously to his predecessors and declared himself the 3rd Dalai Lama. It was Lobsang Gyatso (1617–1682), the 5th Dalai Lama, who established the Dalai Lamas as Tibet's predominant political power. After that the Dalai Lama ruled the country and was powerful enough to stop the reincarnation of Shamarpa (red hat) who was the second in command to Karmapa in 1792. This ban remained in place until 1952 when DL lost power. Well the Karma Kagyu school has said they kept on finding Shamarpa reincarnations secretly all these years. Man this is getting complicated init. So many bloody high class lamas. So in 1981 the senior regent Shamarpa Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche fell out with DL and the rest of the regents who were to select the next Karmapa Lama.

So without Shamar, Ogyen Trinley Dorje has been recognized by Situ Rinpoche and Gyaltsab Rinpoche. In July 1992, both asked the Office of the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala to confirm their recognition. The 14th Dalai Lama confirmed the recognition of Ogyen Trinley Dorje. The head of the Sakya school, H.H. Sakya Trizin and the head of the Nyingma school at that time, H.H. Mindroling Trichen Rinpoche also recognised Ogyen Trinley Dorje as the reincarnation of the 16th Karmapa and composed long-life prayers for him.[3] The government of the People's Republic of China has also accepted him.
But The first born Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje, has been recognized by H.H. Shamar Rinpoche - the senior Kagyu official below the Karmapas themselves.
On top of all these happenings, Dawa Sangpo Dorje, who was born in Mangan in north Sikkim in 1977 (before the death of the 16th Karmapa) and subsequently resided in Damthang in South Sikkim. As recently as December 2003 he requested the opportunity to prove his "supernatural power" to the Dalai Lama.
So now we have three Karmapas residing and doing religious rituals. But the all the moneys involved is cotrolled by a fund Karmapa Charitable Trust.
The Panchen Lama was appointed by 5th DL to honour his Tutor Lobsang Chökyi Gyalsten head of Tashilhunpo Monastery and exclusively reserved the title Panchen for him,[2] and this title has continued to be given to his successors and, posthumously, to his predecessors starting with Khedrup Je. Panchen means great scholar. There is a problem about who is the Panchen lama? Chinese arrested Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, the youngest political prisoner ever recorded, in 1995. Qoigyijabu who has been put there as PL by the Chinese and the Tibetan Government in Exile does not recognize him. Now it is getting a bit more easier to understand all these init. But Chinese are trying to simplify it further by getting rd of all these bullshit and put just numbers on them. Ha ha ha

There are three main characters in Tibetan system of rule Dalai Lama, Panchen Lama, and Karmapa Lama. They are all Tulkus. Tulku is a Tibetan Buddhist Lama who keeps on been reborn to take the place of the one who died. According to the Tibetan custum the Tulku inherits the wealth of the dead lama. But he is from a different family but of the same school of Buddhism.
The first recognized tulku of this kind within the Vajrayana traditions was the Karmapa, the head of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism; precisely, the first to be recognized as a re-manifestation was the second Karmapa, Karma Pakshi (1024-1283) first Karmapa was Düsum Khyenpa (1110-1193). The Karmapa is now in his 17th incarnation. The wealth of this school is immense.

Present Dali Lama in the Gelugpa (Dge-lugs-pa) School of Tibetan Buddhism (the school which controlled Tibet from the 16th century until the Communist takeover) was already there in 1950. We all know of him. He is the incarnation of Gendun Drup (1391 – 1474), who was not known as Dalai Lama, First who become known as Dalai Lama was actually the third incarnation Sonam Gyatso, until he was dubbed "Dalai Lama" as an adult, after which he applied the title posthumously to his predecessors and declared himself the 3rd Dalai Lama. It was Lobsang Gyatso (1617–1682), the 5th Dalai Lama, who established the Dalai Lamas as Tibet's predominant political power. After that the Dalai Lama ruled the country and was powerful enough to stop the reincarnation of Shamarpa (red hat) who was the second in command to Karmapa in 1792. This ban remained in place until 1952 when DL lost power. Well the Karma Kagyu school has said they kept on finding Shamarpa reincarnations secretly all these years. Man this is getting complicated init. So many bloody high class lamas. So in 1981 the senior regent Shamarpa Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche fell out with DL and the rest of the regents who were to select the next Karmapa Lama.

So without Shamar, Ogyen Trinley Dorje has been recognized by Situ Rinpoche and Gyaltsab Rinpoche. In July 1992, both asked the Office of the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala to confirm their recognition. The 14th Dalai Lama confirmed the recognition of Ogyen Trinley Dorje. The head of the Sakya school, H.H. Sakya Trizin and the head of the Nyingma school at that time, H.H. Mindroling Trichen Rinpoche also recognised Ogyen Trinley Dorje as the reincarnation of the 16th Karmapa and composed long-life prayers for him.[3] The government of the People's Republic of China has also accepted him.
But The first born Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje, has been recognized by H.H. Shamar Rinpoche - the senior Kagyu official below the Karmapas themselves.
On top of all these happenings, Dawa Sangpo Dorje, who was born in Mangan in north Sikkim in 1977 (before the death of the 16th Karmapa) and subsequently resided in Damthang in South Sikkim. As recently as December 2003 he requested the opportunity to prove his "supernatural power" to the Dalai Lama.
So now we have three Karmapas residing and doing religious rituals. But the all the moneys involved is cotrolled by a fund Karmapa Charitable Trust.
The Panchen Lama was appointed by 5th DL to honour his Tutor Lobsang Chökyi Gyalsten head of Tashilhunpo Monastery and exclusively reserved the title Panchen for him,[2] and this title has continued to be given to his successors and, posthumously, to his predecessors starting with Khedrup Je. Panchen means great scholar. There is a problem about who is the Panchen lama? Chinese arrested Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, the youngest political prisoner ever recorded, in 1995. Qoigyijabu who has been put there as PL by the Chinese and the Tibetan Government in Exile does not recognize him. Now it is getting a bit more easier to understand all these init. But Chinese are trying to simplify it further by getting rd of all these bullshit and put just numbers on them. Ha ha ha
