There is reasonable doubt about the care given to the Soldiers who come home injured in battle. And it is so bad most of the afflicted soldiers commit suicide. Simply speaking suicide is not nice. But sometimes people like to go that way. And the US Gov knows that and uses it to get rid of the bloody waste of money, the injured VETs. Just take a moment to sum up the injured in US from the time of Nam war? What do you think few 1000? Or 10,000? or more? Kindly find out for your self. They were better than the GP in finding out what is wrong with me, but the Physiotherapist was in a hurry to get my back sorted. She did not listen to me at all. I had to listen to her very loud voice repeating things and making me feel,"I want to go home, now". They promised a lot but no one person was following my progress. The good doctor who started my treatment left after two months into the treatment. Then it was upto the nurse. She was a good proffessional doing a job which she was not trained for. It will be nice if my doctor has time to read my blog. Hmmm dream on dreamer...

The informal meaning of the term started with the term 'washing the money'. That meaning is simply that it is dirty money. Now who declares and proves that it is illegal money or dirty money? Basically any money transaction is illegal in the basic law.

So me, my parents, me grand parents and going up on me ancestry we were money launderers. We were born bred and buttered to perform as money launderes by the society, for the society etc. Thats my definition at the moment.

To Smoke Or Not To

I am a selfish person, who have no other thoughts. And you the READER remember that.

Here is the unedited version of my path to get my addiction to smoking.

In 1986,7 or somewhere I finished a session with some friends in High Kingsdown. A Session meaning whole night plus just messing around with sound equipment. at least my mates were producing gingles for the local radio stations. I was just drinking taking drugs making permanent supply of cups of tea. Well we all made the tea. And about 11 am next morning my mouth felt as it should. So I decided to go home. Just before I left I butted a three quarter ciggerret into the ash tray. I remember that as my mouth felt ahhhhrrr. On the way on Kingsdown Parade going up towords Cotham as I was living in Hapmton Road B&B at the time. I remember some people coming abreast of me and I felt that I wanted to cross the road to avoid them. But there was traffic and I could not. Next thing I remember, after I have passed this bunch of people, was that I am passing under some scaffoldings and I had a freshly lit ciggy in my hand. For a few moments I realised what 'my whole being' done something without me realising what is going on. I lighted a ciggy. I did not need the smoke. I felt comfortable with it, in a chaotic situation.

Then I started thinking about the whole situation. I went on a mad walk which took 11 days and ten minutes and 176 miles across Wales. Offa's Dyke Path. I did it with a friend of mine and on the 5th day (I have to check this with the journal I kept) I run of ciggys and money was running short of money. So I decided from that time onwords I will not buy any straights. And only smoke roll ups. Cool that I did manage to cut my smoking down to about 2.5 grams a day, by 2006. That was a facter of 50 grams to 2.5 grams.

Then in 23rd dec 2007 I decided not to buy any more tobacco. That was because I have run out of duty free I always smoked and didn't have any gismo to get any more. So since then I have been 'accused' of bumming tobacco who ever comes around. I had some shade leaves of ganja and started a mix. I finished the shade and got into ganja and baccy mix. I got to 1/10 level at the moment. I am trying to get it a bit sorted as some days I get zonked out but some days I don't. I will connect the blog together later.

Mexican torture videos reveal ties with US military contractors

"On July 1, videos surfaced on the Internet and Mexican television depicting police officers practicing torture techniques in the city of León, Guanajuato. The videos reveal ongoing ties between Mexican authorities and US military contractors, and an escalation of repressive measures against the Mexican working class, youth and peasantry. The tapes show an English-speaking private contractor training the officers, a chilling image that brought back memories of the “Dirty War” of the 1970’s and 80’s, when the Mexican government systematically hunted down and tortured left-wing students and peasants with the complicity and assistance of the United States."

Armed attack on US consulate in Istanbul

"On July 9, at about 10:30 a.m., a group of assailants opened fire on police in front of the US consulate in Istanbul. A gun battle ensued in which three police officers and three of the four attackers were killed.

Another police officer who was involved in the gun battle and a civilian driver of a police tow truck, as well as bystanders who were lined up to apply for US visas, were injured in the attack. The wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals but reportedly did not suffer life-threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to staff inside the consulate."

A child can see through this. I hope the children do not suffer. News is wonderful, but spin is ever lasting.

The Collective Punishment?

"Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak has ordered the army to prepare to demolish the home of the Palestinian who killed three Israelis in Jerusalem.

The order follows advice by Attorney-General Menachem Mazuz that the proposed demolition could create legal difficulties, but would not be illegal.

An Israeli rights group has said such a move would be collective punishment.

B'tselem says it has written to Mr Mazuz demanding that he prevent the attacker's home from being demolished.

The group argues that the demolition would, as collective punishment, be illegal under international humanitarian law.

Hussam Dwayat went on the rampage at the wheel of a front-loader vehicle, or bulldozer, killing three people and wounding dozens before security personnel shot him dead."

What is Logic?

The enlightened boffins of the Oxford Dictionary says this:

Where do I get this thing called logic? Was I born with it? From the time of my inception I had a series of experiences. These experiences lead me to develope my own logic. As I grow older I tune my logic as more and more experiences become. Some of the logic I used ten years ago is not exactly right for me now. So my own logic changes.

Blogging In The Afternoon: Loud People Kids

Here I am sitting down half witted with alcohol and ganja, thinking about what the heck is going on. I hear loud voices from the street corner, and get apprehensive about what I was thinking. what the hell was that?

Then I started thinking of...no a vision of me walking down the road with this little kid who was about 7 years old. We were going to a friend of mine's place, about 1/4 mile. He talked all the way. It was as if he was on a mission. Quite loud for a person of that stature. We got to the front door. Door bell was rung by him. Quietness ensued. He was dead quiet for the period we were in the house of my friend. For a couple of hours at least. Just thank you, sorry, pleas, toilet? Thats all.

We came out of the house and the kid continued what he was about when we stopped at the door of my friend. Yeah he was talking about his mum when we reached my friend. Of course I was interested in his mum, thats why I was looking after him init?

So here I am wondering about what that was about? Was he scared of the outside and was talking to put a front...yeah being loud annd all.

Farmers In England

I am a townee who is having a conversation with another scouser townee, who tells me that; he knew a farmer in Swansea, Wales who used to buy his bacon from the Tescos as he could not to eat bacon or any other meat produce from his own farm. The details are a bit hazy. It could be that the farmer had a contract with the supermarkets and he could not kill his own animals for his own use.

IN August 2001, Zacarias Moussaoui the would be hijacker was arrested. He had a laptop computer, two knives, 747 flight manuals, a flight simulator computer program, fighting gloves and shin guards, and a computer disk with information about crop dusting. An FBI agent Mr Harry Samit who interrogated the Zacarias wanted to investigate the laptop and sent 70 emails in one weekand FBI agent Coleen Rowley made an explicit request for permission to search Moussaoui's personal rooms. These requests were first denied by her superior, Deputy General Counsel Marion "Spike" Bowman, and later rejected based upon FISA regulations (amended after 9/11 by the USA Patriot Act). Several further search attempts similarly failed.

And September 11 happened.”

In the aftermath, investigators turned up still more bits of evidence. Moussaoui, they say, was carrying the phone number in Dusseldorf, Germany, assigned to Ramzi bin al-Shibh. Al-Shibh, now a fugitive, is allegedly a member of the Hamburg Al Qaeda cell that also included Mohammed Atta, who flew American Flight 11 into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11. Al-Shibh served as a financial coordinator for the conspiracy, the Feds say, and in early August sent $14,000 in two wire transfers to Moussaoui, who was evidently using some of the cash to enroll at Pan Am."

"Iranian officials denied on Tuesday reports that the government had withdrawn about $75 billion from European banks amid fears the funds could be frozen under planned new sanctions over the Iranian nuclear program. (VIDEO)

Iranian Shahrvand-e Emrouz weekly magazine on Monday quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Talaie as saying part of Iran's assets in banks in Europe has been converted to gold and securities, and the other part has been transferred to Asian banks.

"No Iranian assets or deposits have been withdrawn or will be withdrawn from European banks to Iran or other countries," said Ali Divandari, managing director of Bank Mellat, a leading Iranian state-owned bank.

"There is no reason for such a transfer," he added."

Part of the reason, according to John Holmes, the top U.N. humanitarian official, is the country's climate, chronic drought and the large population - some 78 million people. He said the U.N. was hoping to boost the number of people it helps here.

"The World Food Program feeds some 8 million people already, together with the others in Ethiopia," he said. "But we may need to increase that, because of drought.""

"The Ethiopian government has announced plans to increase its military budget by $50m to $400m, just one week after it appealed for international help to tackle its worst famine in 25 years."

US Fraud in Iraq War...Surprised?

"31/05/09 "Times Of India" -- 30/05/08 -- NEW DELHI: The tale of massive fraud and embezzlement of millions of dollars by the US military in its operations in Iraq continues. Testifying before the US Congress Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on 22 May, Mary Ugone, deputy inspector general of accounts in the Pentagon said that an audit of $8.2 billion spending related to the Iraq war showed that $7.8 billion had been improperly spent.

Over 180,000 payments, mostly since the war started in 2003, were made by the defense department to contractors for everything from bottled water to vehicles to transportation services.

In her testimony, Ugone also revealed that $135 million were given to forces from three countries UK, South Korea and Poland to facilitate their participation in the war. This is the first time that the US has officially admitted paying its allies in the so-called Coalition of the Willing that invaded Iraq in March 2003."

We, South Africans who faced the might of unjust and brutal apartheid machinery in South Africa and fought against it with all our strength, with the objective to live in a just, democratic society, refuse today to celebrate the existence of an Apartheid state in the Middle East. While Israel and its apologists around the world will, with pomp and ceremony, loudly proclaim the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the state of Israel this month, we who have lived with and struggled against oppression and colonialism will, instead, remember 6 decades of catastrophe for the Palestinian people. 60 years ago, 750,000 Palestinians were brutally expelled from their homeland, suffering persecution, massacres, and torture. They and their descendants remain refugees. This is no reason to celebrate.

When we think of the Sharpeville massacre of 1960, we also remember the Deir Yassin massacre of 1948.

When we think of South Africa’s Bantustan policy, we remember the bantustanisation of Palestine by the Israelis.

When we think of our heroes who languished on Robben Island and elsewhere, we remember the 11,000 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails.

When we think of the massive land theft perpetrated against the people of South Africa, we remember that the theft of Palestinian land continues with the building of illegal Israeli settlements and the Apartheid Wall.

When we think of the Group Areas Act and other such apartheid legislation, we remember that 93% of the land in Israel is reserved for Jewish use only.

When we think of Black people being systematically dispossessed in South Africa, we remember that Israel uses ethnic and racial dispossession to strike at the heart of Palestinian life.

When we think of how the SADF troops persecuted our people in the townships, we remember that attacks from tanks, fighter jets and helicopter gunships are the daily experience of Palestinians in the Occupied Territory.

When we think of the SADF attacks against our neighbouring states, we remember that Israel deliberately destabilises the Middle East region and threatens international peace and security, including with its 100s of nuclear warheads.

We who have fought against Apartheid and vowed not to allow it to happen again can not allow Israel to continue perpetrating apartheid, colonialism and occupation against the indigenous people of Palestine.

We dare not allow Israel to continue violating international law with impunity.

We will not stand by while Israel continues to starve and bomb the people of Gaza.

We who fought all our lives for South Africa to be a state for all its people demand that millions of Palestinian refugees must be accorded the right to return to the homes from where they were expelled.

Apartheid was a gross violation of human rights. It was so in South Africa and it is so with regard to Israel’s persecution of the Palestinians!

The very first Entry: "Meekness and HumilityGod's Cure for Pride, Haughtiness, and Egotism" by Gospel Way.

It is good but loads of words or complicated. Not my life style. But read it any way if you like.

To start with the learned authour (What is the proper spelling. Is this the old English authour and author is Americanised ...quarrrrrrch theuip....who is misspelling) says:

"Why should people be meek and humble? What problems are caused by pride, arrogance, ego, self-exaltation, haughtiness, and self-will? Should you learn self-assertiveness, or should you learn not to be proud and haughty? What does the Bible teach about meekness, humility, gentleness, and lowliness in contrast to pride, selfishness, self-will, and arrogance?"

Why should the messenger of God, Jesus, hide behind with all contradictory words, may I a humble dimwit ask?

I can see why? I put "meek" into the "OneLook Reverse Dictionary"

Darned right that we should have so many meanings, to keep the religious beliefs complicated. If you check the meanings of all the words mentioned in the last link you will see that some words "dismean" each other. And then the authour compares Jesus and Moses to all of us to say that, they were the meekest people ever lived. Good on Jesus; I cannot see him as a war mongering person who wanted bad things happen to other people. But Moses with the help of the Jewish God planned very nasty things to happen to the Egyptians et al, who beleaved in other Gods. So I cannot take Moses as a meek person even though Bible says so. Everything written in the good book is not true. We all know that.

Meekness

This is an extremely difficult word to translate into English, because we think "meek" implies weakness. Sometimes it is translated (NKJV) "gentleness," but that also implies weakness.

The best way to know the meaning of a word is to study passages where it is used. As we do, we will see meekness is an attitude or quality of heart [1 Peter 3:4] whereby a person willingly accepts and submits without resistance to the will and desires of someone else. The meek person is not self-willed - not continually concerned with self, his own ways, ideas, and wishes. Of course it is difficult to translate into a language like English, which started 1000's of years after the Bible was written, and updated. Why do we always think of a meek person as a weak person. Someone who does not have a will and will succumb to the other's will. No mate think about it; you find the answer.

I still don't beleave in the theory of an underdog winning the race; bleeding fantasising "romanticity". As the authour says:

These prophets were highly dialectic people who can easily see all sides of an argument. So when they say something they want it to be very basic and simple. So that anyone can understand and there is no basis for debate.

No way an exalted person like Jesus will say this political stuff; he was trying to get the masses out of the demon Judaism.

Now take the meaning of the word "Pharisee":

noun: a self-righteous or sanctimonious person"

Yeah a person who did not like the present system and trying to bring in a revolution; Jesus. Telling stories about the opposition. OK if he said that, would you consider him a meek person? The question we are raising in this article? Me says no; as if, his mode of thought is true, then he would have been a nasty person by its own definition. Jesus did not mean that.

I don't understand why this is thrown in here except as a red herring. here is the stuff:

Now the authour brings in another part of the bible: Matthew 18:1-4: which says:

That is easy to explain in simple terms. A child has not been spoilt by the society to become some one in the likes of us (don't tell Uncle Joe about this stuff). He/She has not learned the conniving, despicable thought processes you and I go through before we decide on any thing. Yeah I understand that. Yeah we can see that now can't we? So the child is a person who we can take as a meek person? Can we?

We all have needs and wants. All my needs are satisfied as I write this. If I need anything I will be going about to satisfy my need, rather than sitting here and writing. Anything I want is just a dream. Now I call a meek person who lives just within his needs and do not do any further pursuits.

So can a rich man be meek? I say, of course he/she can. If that rich person is not trying to get richer, and use her/his richness to make other people happy and keep what ever he got; she/he is a meek person and can go to heavon.

Do you beleave in something better than this instant? And think about what can be worse? Then you already are in heavon.

US has declared the Polar Bear a threat­ened spe­cies Wednes­day be­cause of the loss of Arc­tic sea ice. But bec­ause the root cause is be­lieved to be the thorny po­li­ti­cal issue of glo­bal warm­ing, there are doubts as to whe­ther the listi­ng will lead to action to save the ani­mal.

They are going to take all the polar bears into the Bush estates and keep them there so that no one can see them or do any harm to them. Ha Ha Ha
