Remember way back I said that; if I die suddenly my body goes to the Science and my Dread Locks will have to be studied to see whether my so called junk DNA has changed in the last 20 to 30 years. I have hair from as far back as 1981. This aricle is talking about evolution of us, but I think it is worth checking, as I got the hair from 1981 to today; so check the DNA at the two extremities and if the Junk bits are the same we know it is wrong, otherwise I will have million quid hair. Wonder how much this will cost? I have never heard of any one talking about checking the same person's DNA decades later.

Its Bin Harder To Get Home Than Before

I got wrecked at my friend's place, as agreed taxi home to St Agnes, Badmignton Road, near M32, when I feels. Cool. I got the telephone message: "Taxi downstairs, could you come down, sir". "Bye-de-bye Andy, who was tripping by now." And off I went down the stairs. Came to the road, looked this way and that no taxi? Just then this car pulled up in front of me. Yep the taxi. I was very impressed with the timing. Got into the taxi, he said Badmington road, I was still giggling about the timing.

I was spaced out, the very reason I took the frigging taxi init, otherwise I could of walked home. I got into a good conversation with the driver; and lost into the feeling of my mother's womb.

Then I looked around and I said, "Hey bro, where are we?" He goes da de da di da dyuts de da.

I went fine and went back into myself, where I always wish I am sucking me thumb, but I always don't. Then I went, "I don't know this area man?"

He was in a different world, a look of determination in his face with reflections of the wind and rain splattering across the wind screen. I was getting paranoid, with my primeaval feelings coming out to make things harder. Well long way from home as the only thought, I got in me feeble mind.

Then he pulls into this street and says, "What's your number?". I look around and goes, " Where the fuck are we?" "Badmington Road, ....." I said "Badmington road? Where?........"

Completely forgotton about this episode in life next day; my back is going into trantrums, decided to get a delivery from the HotWok place in Bristol. I bin Customer of this establishment for a while. But when I phoned; it was, as if, I was a new customer. They did not have the details, name, postal address; and I felt very hard done by. You know what I mean. It is nice to be known sometimes.

So all done and told to wait, with sufficient money for payment, and it would take 30 to 45 minutes. Watched footie on the box with rude expectations, tummy grumbling without a break by now.

After about half hour or so I got a call from the delivery man. "What number are you?".

"34".

"I am in front of 34."

"I can't see you."

Me realising the mistake. "Are you? In Downend." You know the res......

My existance in the universe depends on the universe. At the same time the universe depends on me. Take the example of my learned GP Dr Allen; if I and a few others like me, was non-existance then he will not be there earning a lot of doss. I know he spent a lot of his energy to get there, and there were lots of people like me who made it easier for him to get there. Some one must have looked after his medical problems before he become a GP.

So I employ so many people, some times I wonder whether an employed person employ so many people, compared to me. OK how many of you, the working people have a settlement officer, bless her soul, respect to her, she does a marvellous job I can say without looking stupid; but the question comes on to mind that, another person has work due to your own existance, and vice-a-versa, be proud of it. The pride is valuable and so is humility.

Law Professor: Counter Terrorism Czar Told Me There Is Going To Be An i-9/11 And An i-Patriot Act

"Amazing revelations have emerged concerning already existing government plans to overhaul the way the internet functions in order to apply much greater restrictions and control over the web.
Lawrence Lessig, a respected Law Professor from Stanford University told an audience at this years Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech conference in Half Moon Bay, California, that “There’s going to be an i-9/11 event” which will act as a catalyst for a radical reworking of the law pertaining to the internet.

Lessig also revealed that he had learned, during a dinner with former government Counter Terrorism Czar Richard Clarke, that there is already in existence a cyber equivalent of the Patriot Act, an “i-Patriot Act” if you will, and that the Justice Department is waiting for a cyber terrorism event in order to implement its provisions.

During a group panel segment titled “2018: Life on the Net”, Lessig stated:

There’s going to be an i-9/11 event. Which doesn’t necessarily mean an Al Qaeda attack, it means an event where the instability or the insecurity of the internet becomes manifest during a malicious event which then inspires the government into a response. You’ve got to remember that after 9/11 the government drew up the Patriot Act within 20 days and it was passed.

The Patriot Act is huge and I remember someone asking a Justice Department official how did they write such a large statute so quickly, and of course the answer was that it has been sitting in the drawers of the Justice Department for the last 20 years waiting for the event where they would pull it out.

Of course, the Patriot Act is filled with all sorts of insanity about changing the way civil rights are protected, or not protected in this instance. So I was having dinner with Richard Clarke and I asked him if there is an equivalent, is there an i-Patriot Act just sitting waiting for some substantial event as an excuse to radically change the way the internet works. He said “of course there is”.

Was Dr Kelly Murdered?

"A female confidante of Dr David Kelly raised disturbing new questions last night over how the Ministry of Defence weapons inspector was able to kill himself.

After his body was discovered in woods near his Oxfordshire home in July 2003, a Government inquiry led by Lord Hutton ruled that he committed suicide by slashing his left wrist with a knife and taking an overdose of co-proxamol, a painkiller commonly used for arthritis.

He was said to be anguished about being named as the source of a BBC report, which alleged that Tony Blair ‘sexed up’ a dossier justifying the invasion of Iraq.

But five years after his death at 59, his close friend, American military linguist Mai Pederson, has come forward to dispute this account.

The Hutton inquiry heard that he died after making several cuts to his left wrist, which severed the ulnar artery, buried deep in the tissue on the side of the hand nearest the little finger.

An earlier coroner’s inquest was halted when the Government used an obscure law to turn the investigation over to Lord Hutton. His inquiry concluded that ‘there was no involvement by a third party’ in the scientist’s death, which was said to be caused primarily by the cut artery and hastened by the painkillers.

Ms Pederson, a US Air Force officer, met Dr Kelly when she was assigned to work in 1998 as a translator for the UN weapons inspection team in Iraq.

And she revealed in an interview with The Mail on Sunday that, in the months leading to his death, the right-handed scientist was unable to use his right hand for tasks requiring strength because of a painful injury to his right elbow.

According to Ms Pederson, when she dined with Dr Kelly at a Washington restaurant in the spring of 2003, the hand’s grip was so weak that he struggled to get a knife through a steak he had ordered.

The linguist, who counselled Dr Kelly during his conversion to the Baha’i religious faith that she follows, says he had begun to favour his left hand for even relatively minor tasks, a tendency she observed on numerous other occasions."

Sucking The Penis Of An Eight Year Old Baby?

[All slaves,] both houseborn and purchased with your money must be circumcised. This shall be My covenant in your flesh, an eternal covenant. The uncircumcised male whose foreskin has not been circumcised, shall have his soul cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant. (Genesis 17:1-14)[1]

As well as in Leviticus 12:3:
On the eighth day, [the child's] foreskin shall be circumcised.[2]

The penalty of non-observance is karet, "excision" from the people or being cut off from the community by God, as noted in Genesis 17:1-14.

Conversion to Judaism for non-Israelites in Biblical times necessitated circumcision otherwise one could not partake in the Passover offering (Exodus 12:48).

Today, as in the time of Abraham, it is required of converts in Orthodox and Conservative Judaism. (Genesis 34:14-16)."

It must be easy to get yourself circumscised at 80 years old than 8 years old. For an eight year old it is a like pissing. No pain. Cry a bit but cannot understand why. If you are confused you keep on crying untill consoled by a nicely vibrating adult or get so tired you fall sleep and forget what it was all about. For an uncircunscised? person like me, it is a mouthful?. One sentence.

But the next bit made me a bit wary of, am I reading this or imagining it?

"Metzitzah b'peh ("suction by mouth") is a practice in certain Haredi and Hasidic circles in which, after removing the foreskin, the mohel sucks out the blood from the wound to clean it. The mohel spits the blood into a receptacle provided. Afterwards the circumcised penis is bandaged, and the brit is considered complete. Because the practice may spread diseases to the babies from the mohel's mouth (such as herpes), most mohelim ensure that their mouths are sanitized and washed out by rinsing with alcohol to disinfect the mouth.[10] However, because alcohol may not kill a virus such as herpes, washing the mouth with alcohol alone is not regarded as a sufficient protective measure. Today, if it is performed, the mohel generally uses a sterilized glass tube.[11][12] However, the practice has become a controversy in both secular and Jewish medical ethics."

Then I felt that I must be tripping when I read this. Mind I knew about circumscision but never knew this bit about it.

"A lawyer for the Monsey Hasidic rabbi suspected of transmitting a fatal case of herpes to a baby boy during a circumcision said yesterday that the practice of suctioning blood orally is thousands of years old and integral to the religion.

But one local scholar said such unsanitized rituals actually violated Jewish law. Another rabbi saw the case as outsiders frowning on Hasidic traditions.

Rabbi Yitzchok Fischer is being investigated by New York City health officials after a baby died of herpes, and two others contracted the disease.

Fischer, a mohel in Rockland, the metropolitan area and Israel, uses his mouth to suck the blood from the wound caused by cutting the baby's foreskin. The centuries-old ritual, called "metzizah bi peh," is used predominantly by Hasidic Jews, who consider the practice mandatory for newborns.

Most other Jewish mohels wear surgical gloves and use sterilized instruments. Many other mohels who do that part of the ritual use a medical tube to suction the blood, several rabbis said yesterday.

Ritual circumcision, or bris, dates to the prophet Abraham and is said to symbolize God's covenant with the Jewish people.

Fischer is not accused of violating any criminal laws. The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene took civil action under its legal powers to protect the health and safety of the children and investigate outbreaks of communicable diseases.

After a child died of herpes and two others were infected, the city's health commissioner ordered Fischer to undergo blood tests for herpes and stop using the mouth suction method without a tube until the issue was resolved. He continued to use the mouth suction method, so court orders were sought in December, the city's lawyers wrote in court papers.

Fischer's lawyer, Mark J. Kurzmann, said yesterday that the rabbi was cooperating with the city's investigation. Kurzmann, whose son, Hillel, also is working on the case, declined to say whether the rabbi would submit to a blood test, citing medical privacy reasons.

"The source of the children's herpes has not been confirmed, and it may have been an unfortunate coincidence," Kurzmann said.

"This is an integral part of the religious practice for thousands of years," Kurzmann said. "There have been hundreds of thousands of babies who have undergone this ritual, and the incidence of herpes is virtually nil."

Fischer, 66, could not be reached for comment at his home. Kurzmann said he would speak for the rabbi, who was trained in circumcisions by the British Milah Society.

The city health department took action after being notified in November that a newborn less than three weeks old had died Oct. 26 of herpes simplex virus type 1. The infant's twin brother tested positive for the infection. Fischer performed the double bris on Oct. 16, the city's court papers state.

City health department officials later learned that a Staten Island baby also tested positive for herpes after being circumcised by the rabbi in late 2003, according to the court papers.
Herpes is far more dangerous to infants than adults because of their fragile immune systems. An outbreak of a disease is defined in the city's health code as one that has been reported in three or more instances.

"The New York City Department Health and Mental Hygiene is concerned that the possible transmission of herpes simplex in infants is continuing as a result of the ... practice of Metzizah bi peh," city lawyers wrote in court papers dated Dec. 22.

The mouth-suction ritual during a circumcision is not mandated by Jewish law, said Rabbi Moses Tendler, a professor of ethical medical practices and Talmudic law at Yeshiva University. Tendler, the rabbi of Community Synagogue of Monsey, also serves on the Rabbinical Council of America, an Orthodox Jewish group.

Tendler said the unsanitized ritual performed by Fischer violated Jewish law. Tendler said the Talmud refers to sucking the blood from the wound, but doesn't specifically indicate using one's mouth.

"I protested his use of oral suction as violating good medical practices, which he is required to do under Jewish law," Tendler said. "Jewish law has recognized there has been an increase in knowledge of hygiene and medical advances over the centuries. It is not a lack of respect for the traditions or Jewish law to use a tube."

Monsey Rabbi David Eidensohn, 62, said the spreading of disease is rare through the oral suction method. He said his five sons and numerous grandsons, as well as hundreds of thousands of newborn boys, had undergone the procedure. Fischer, he said, is a respected mohel across the region and in Israel.

"This represents people frowning on our traditions," Eidensohn said. "If this happened regularly or even occasionally, we would be the first to stop the practice ourselves. We don't want to kill our children. This is a tragedy for the families."

Stanley J. Kogan, chief of pediatric urology at Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, has been performing in-hospital circumcisions for three decades.

"In my 30 years of doing circumcisions, I have never had a patient develop an infection with genital herpes afterward," said Kogan, who has a private practice in White Plains and is on staff at Nyack Hospital. "That speaks to just how unusual it is."

Physicians performing circumcisions are careful to clean the patient's skin before the incision is made. All instruments are sterile, and special care is taken to make sure that the tissue is treated gently to prevent trauma, he said.

But occasionally, babies develop complications from circumcision, he said."Even in the cleanest operating room under the best circumstances, you can get an infection," Kogan said. "There is never no risk with any surgical procedure."

Nothing To Do With Me

I am a selfish person.

My friend phoned me and Says,"I am in trouble."

I, a total teetotaller, was a bit intrigued; what this has got to do with my relationship with my friend. He is a bit more than an acquaintance, if you know my meaning.

I reply with intent,"Nothing is trouble, as far as you be concerned, my learned friend.".

My friend is a educated you know. he does not go to websites like confused dot com.

His reply is very contained and secrective, "I don't give a shite, man, I thought you are my friend...blah...blah ....xxxx." I was shocked to the point of vapours and more. But after all he is my friend.

"Tell me, what do you want me to do?", is only reply I could make without making it obvious. O how much I resented his tone of voice.

He said, "Your old man is here, and he is threatening to kill me".

I was perplexed, as, if he means old man as my own father, then it is quite impossible, as impossible as a bat getting a sun-tan. He was supposed to have died in tragic circumstances, which I do not like to dwelve in here in public forum. So I played for time, to get my breath back, which by this time has gone on holiday to freezing Alaska.

"Is he wearing a top hat?", I inquired with a quavering voice, to which he screamed, "Arrrgh."

Then silence followed as in a aftermath of a train crash.

I woke up, in a sweat.

Democracy Now!

I am a selfish person.

ST. PAUL, MN—Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman was unlawfully arrested in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota at approximately 5 p.m. local time. Police violently manhandled Goodman, yanking her arm, as they arrested her. Video of her arrest can be seen here



She is one of my US heroes. Later I heard she and the other two has been released. Well this is good in a way, as there will be lots more demos against the Republicans now.

Hurricane Katrina Some Facts

I am a selfish person.

It happened on August 29, 2005. It went through nearly 100,000 square miles destroying everything in them diplacing million people, killing 1,836 and unaccounted number missing. In New Orleans, after the levee system failed and nearly 80 percent of the cities were submerged and a quarter of a million homes were destroyed.

The black and poor people lived in the low lying areas, and they were stayed behind as they did not get help and transportation from the State.

After the storm hundreds of survivors of the storm were tranded on roof tops and closedinterstate ramps in the scorching heat, and died while waiting for the medical care, water and rescue. Even the shelters as the big football stadium did not have proper security, or water and medical care.

The situation got worse as the people started looting the shops to get water and medical supplies, and the Gov put thousands of combat-armed National Guard troops, federal and police units, to locked the city and most of the innocent people were shot and others were demonized by gov and the media.

After three years there are no emergency shelters arrangements are made intentially to discourage people not to evacuate in a similar storm. There are 150 buses already in the city to evacuate 30,000 city dwellers already earmarked (pun intended). But there are 7000 families who were displaced 3 years earlier living in flimsy, storm vulnerable state trailers in the Metro area of the city.
